Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation

Is it magic? Or is it foundation?
When I first saw that Charlotte Tilbury had brought out a new foundation, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. I went to the counter in Selfridges where a really lovely girl tested it on my skin - I decided to go for shade 3, although she said shade 2 probably would have matched my skin exactly, I couldn't bring myself to buy a foundation that pale. Anyway, I don't have a problem with the colour as I blend my foundations down my neck and sometimes add a bit of bronzer.

The packaging is what really caught my attention - the frosted glass, the white detail and of course, the Rose Gold lid *heart eyes emoji*. What I love about all of Charlotte Tilbury's products is how much time and effort she puts in. Every product is made to perfection - this specific foundation took her five years to get right as she really wanted it to be 'magic', and I must say, it practically is. To be able to get a foundation so perfect that it suits every skin type is amazing.
It's described as a full coverage foundation and whilst it is just that, it feels really light on the skin. It's a 'demi-matte' finish which is nice as a lot of heavy foundations can look a bit cakey when applied - I don't find that that is the case at all with this one. It's really easy to blend and doesn't cling to dry patches like a few matte foundations do. It claims to cover acne, redness and lines/wrinkles and it's safe to say that it definitely does just that. My favourite way to wear this foundation is with the MAC Strobe Cream applied beforehand as it creates a really flawless, glowy base. The final thing that I love about this product is that it has a PUMP!! My main foundations over the past few years have been Nars and MAC and it's always so difficult to get my hands on a pump, so the fact that this actually comes with one makes me very happy indeed.
