I am a sucker for anything labelled as glowy, luminous, dewy, etc and I know it can sometimes be a little difficult to create a glowy base without looking too greasy. I'm a huge sucker for highlighter but I also like to look 'lit from within'. I've put together a few of my favourites for a healthy glow.
Starting with primer, the Becca Backlight Priming Filter is perfect to start things off. It really gives a gorgeous 'background glow'. Once foundation is applied over the top, it looks so beautiful and radiant. It applies smoothly over the skin and smells so good. Another is the MAC Strobe Cream which can be used in a few ways, either as primer, a highlighter on top of the cheekbones or mixed with foundation to make it more luminous. This is another that applies beautifully and leaves a really smooth base for your foundation.

My favourite foundation type product to use on my skin in Spring/Summer is my Bourjois CC Cream. I use it like I'd use a foundation, anyway. Applied with a beauty blender, it creates such a radiant base. As it's a colour correcting cream, it gets rid of all of the odd pigmentation in your skin - it barely looks like you're wearing anything but still looks pretty.
Now, highlighters. You know I love an 'in your face' highlighter but sometimes I like to use cream or liquid based products which still stand out but also look fairly natural. My all time favourite highlighter is Benefit's Watts Up (see it in action here). It's a champagne cream stick highlighter that you draw onto your face and blend out. It has little to no shimmer in it but still has a gorgeous glow to it. Another more natural highlighter is the Nars Copacabana Illuminator. You don't need a lot of this at all. I just dot it onto my cheekbones and pat it in with my ring finger. It looks great paired with a cream blusher and looks so healthy.

The last thing I felt I needed to mention is the Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist. There's not much to say about this really, it's a mist that I like to spray onto my face if I'm having a bit of a 'dull skin' day. I'm pretty sure it's oil based so you have to make sure that you shake it up a bit before use, otherwise you'll be left feeling like a greasy mess. My skin can be quite dehydrated and often looks like there is just no life in it whatsoever, so I find a light spritz of this mist really helps to brighten up my complexion.
